In Short – The first U.S. branch of the YMCA started in Boston in 1851; there are now more than 2,500 locations nationwide, making it the country's largest nonprofit community service program. I would highly recommend the YMCA to anyone that wants a good workout. They offer many classes and they have a great selection of equipment so that you are able to get a good work out. I've been a member for about 3 years and I've gotten in shape and I feel great. -Chris

Great Exercise Facility

by VerifiedReviewer01

I started going to the YMCA about 13 years ago after a family member of mine invited me to an exercise class. From then on I've been a member I absolutely love working out there. I go about 5 days a week for weight training. The YMCA has everything that I need and the staff are very helpful if I have any questions about the equipment. YMCA comes highly recommend from me, its a great exercise facility. Trust me its worth it. -F.J.

Great Facility!

Ymca is an excellent place to work out. My family have been members for about 10 years now and we're very happy with all they have to office and facility itself. I use the machine bike most of the time when I go to work out. My wife and daughter are involved in the swimming classes and they have a great time as well. As a family we are very happy to have such a great place to exercise and I would recommend anyone to sign up with the YMCA. -M.J.

Great Place to Exercise!

by VerifiedReviewer04

Ever since my husband's told me about the YMCA in Florence, AL 3 years ago, I've loved working out there. I work on the treadmill 4-5 times a week. I like the variety of equipment they offer even though I mostly use the treadmill. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. If I have any questions about anything there's someone usually always available. The YMCA in Florence, AL is great place to exercise and I tell everyone to join. -P.P.
